Crop and Vegetable Production
(CVP)

What we do

We use our ten hectares fenced arable land for crop and vegetable production applying modern sustainable agricultural practices. Thereby we provide practical training opportunities for local farmers. We develop cropping timetables for effectively targeting regional markets based on market analysis for increase individual’s income opportunities. We are working on the Good Agricultural Practice for our own production and quality management to enable cooperations with exporting companies. Our system then should serve as a model for individuals or communities.

Why we do it

The income from vegetable production is often low because the market is typically flooded with identical harvest products at the same time. The income generated is therefore not in an acceptable relationship to the large individual effort. Women are particularly affected.
